The opening line here was originally about the “central theme” of what this little online journal of mine would be. I think that was part of why I had a hard time writing for it after the first year or so. My life changes, constantly. I couldn’t stick to a theme. The only theme would be that life rarely changes in ways that I expect. I am back now with the knowledge that I didn’t know anything then, and I may even know less now. However, I have started to pick up on the fact that most of us don’t know what is going on or what is going to happen next. Some people may know those things, but I am writing this for the rest of us.
Hopefully someone reads through these posts and they help them in some way. Maybe you get to laugh, you take the drive somewhere new just because, or maybe you read something here that reminds you of your own adventures. Even if I fill the role of author, editor, and sole reader that is okay because I am also doing this for me. Everyone has countless memory worthy moments that we lose in the noise of life. Reading through older posts has already reminded me of late night drives and experiences I never want to forget.
So welcome or welcome back. I am excited to be writing again. It may be messy, hopefully it’s fun, either way it’s a break from whatever had you so bored that you ended up reading this far.
